Welcome to the Boxman Blog!

Hi allemaal, leuk dat je ons volgt! Voor het eerst dat ik dit doe, een blog bijhouden. Oh ja, ik zou het in het Engels doen voor de English speakers. 

Hi everyone! Thanks for following us. I'm new at this, so bare with me. Here we go.

We're all soooooo super excited!!!!!!!!!! Aaarrrggghhh!!! Unbelievable. So surreal. Weird. Fun. Expectant. Happy. We can't wait. What can I say? So much, but really all I want RIGHT NOW is to see this beautiful child! WHAHOOOOOOO!! 

Ok, ok, I'll calm down. Haha... So, leaving the house at 3 pm tomorrow. Our family members are seeing us off at the airport. So sweet. They're all so excited for us. My parents in Taiwan and my brother and family in the States are very happy for us too.

Anyway, so we'll be drinking some last drinks with the family and then we'll fly off at 8:15 pm. On our way to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. That takes bout 7 hours (enough time for a meal with a fine glass of wine and 2 or 3 movies and then a quick nap) and wait for about 4 hours at the airport there. I've never been to the UAE and never flown with Etihad. (Had never heard of it before this trip really.) Will let u know how that goes.

Then... off to Jhay in Manila, the Philippines!! We'll be arriving at 11 pm. Then sleep for a short while cause our breakfast will be waiting for us at 9 am and we'll need to get used to the rhythm there, quickly get over our jet lag. (So... who believes this will happen, the sleeping part... )

Ok I can tell you all that we'll be doing but I guess I should try to use the blog as a blog and keep everyone posted day by day. We will have wifi in the hotels. I don't know what it's like in the orphanage though. That's from Feb 22-25. 

Oh right, interesting detail there: Feb 22nd is THE day we will be meeting our son for the very first time!!!

Gotta fly. Still need to pack the last bits. (Been packed since November last year...haha...) More later!
