Almost...!!!

So yea, the plane didn't crash. We arrived in Manila safe and sound. I just didn't post anything yet since we arrived. Pretty overwhelming place here. It does remind me a lot of Taipei from some time ago, but still, lots to see, learn and enjoy!

Yesterday we had a quiet day with some swimming and shopping. And today we met some old and new friends! Fun! See the pictures. 

Tonight we were all quite tired and most of all, anxious!! We can't wait to see Jhay tomorrow for the very first time!! Should be around 2 pm!! Questions in our head are...Will he understand who we are? Will he like all of us or just one of us? What has his life been like in the orphanage? We love him now already, even before we've even met him, so for us, it doesn't matter how he reacts and where he has lived. As long as we are finally together, knowing it will be forever, we will be happy. (Sounds corny, but I do mean it, surprisingly...)

If you ever wonder what it feels like to almost adopt a new child, I can explain it like this, for those of you who are married. It's as if tomorrow is your wedding day! A lot planned and ready for this big day, ready to start a new chapter with someone you love. A bit anxious, but most of all, very excited!!

Ps. I don't know if we'll have wifi the next few days at the orphanage and if I'll have the energy to post anything soon, but I will try to let you know how things go tomorrow. I know there are many grandparents, uncles and aunties and many other "uncles" and "aunties" that want to know...
